Linda M. Retka

Linda Retka, age 55, of Little Falls, MN passed away on February 8, 2007 at Fairview University in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, with Fr. Mark Innocenti officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2007 from 4:00 a" 8:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (East Chapel) in Little Falls. Visitation will also be Saturday from 9:00 a" 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. Linda was born on May 20, 1951 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Casmer & Janet (LeMieur) Luberts. She grew up and attended Little Falls Schools. Linda graduated from St. Francis High School. She was united in marriage on September 4, 1970 to Gordon Retka at St. Mary's Catholic in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls where Linda worked at Hardware Hank, Coborn's & Bon Jo's. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Linda enjoyed being a mother and wife. Linda is survived by her husband, Gordon "Gordy" Retka of Little Falls, MN; mother, Janet Luberts of Little Falls, MN; children, Garrett (Sara Leadholm) Retka of Hastings, MN and Tanya (Paul) Ashby of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Pat (Betsy) Luberts of Sauk Rapids, MN; Greg (Denise) Luberts of Lincoln, MN; Roger (Karen) Luberts of Little Falls, MN; Mary (Dennis) Welinski of Little Falls, MN and Tammy (Tyke) Welinski of Little Falls, MN. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Casmer Luberts. Casket Bearers will be Pat Luberts, Greg Luberts, Roger Luberts, Dennis Welinski, Tyke Welinski and Gene Retka.
