Leo P. Woitalla

Leo Woitalla, age 74, of Harding, MN, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his home in Pierz, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN, with Fr. David Maciej officiating.Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Leo Peter Woitalla was born on October 8, 1939, in Little Falls, MN, the son of Roman & Martha (Skudlarek) Woitalla.Leo worked construction for many years and most recently spent time on his hobby farm.He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and collecting coins and agates.He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Martha Woitalla of Pierz, MN; son, Randy Woitalla of Becker, MN; sisters, Adeline Seitz of Harding, MN, and Alvina Rutten of Princeton, MN; sister-in-law, Patty Woitalla of Otsego, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

Leo was preceded in death by his father, Roman Woitalla; brother, Archie Woitalla; infant sister, Mary Woitalla; brothers-in-law, Melvin Rutten and Levi Seitz, and niece, Debbie Smuda.
