Leo Musielewicz, age 79 of Flensburg, MN passed away Monday, January 5, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday from 8:00-10:00 A.M. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, 900 1st Street SE in Little Falls. Parish Prayers will be said at 6:30 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral chapel. Military Rites will be conducted by the Flensburg American Legion Post #136. Leo Musielewicz was born August 2, 1929 in Flensburg, Morrison County, MN to the late Teofil and Klara (Ozarska) Musielewicz. He attended and graduated from Little Falls High School. He entered the United States Army on May 14, 1952 at Minneapolis, MN. Leo served during the Korean War. He received the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He received an Honorable Discharge on March 19, 1954 at Camp Carson, CO. Leo was united in marriage to June Kerkhoff on September 16, 1957. Following their marriage, Leo and June purchased a farm in Culdrum Township. He worked at Larson Boats in Little Falls for 28 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Flensburg American Legion Post #136. Leo was very generous and giving of his time and talents. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and woodworking. Leo is survived by his sons & daughters, Gerald (Theresa) Musielewicz of North Branch, MN, Lorie (Jim) Schleck of Arden Hills, MN, Anthony "Tony" of Santa Cruz, CA, Lisa (Pat) Furey of Elk Mound, WI and Linda (Mike) Muehlenbein of Rochester, MN; brothers, Carl Musielewicz of Rockville, MN, Bernard (MaryAnn) Musielewicz of New Brighton, MN and Ted Musielewicz of Minneapolis, MN and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Musielewicz; parents, Teofil & Klara Musielewicz; sisters, Gladys Martin & Clara Tidwell; brothers, Edward, Chester, Stanley, Frank & Mike Musielewicz. Casket Bearers are Zach & Sam Muehlenbein, Ben Schleck, Alex Peka, Ken & Stan Musielewicz.
