Ledvina A. Frie

Ledvina Frie, age 84, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at St. Camillus Place in Little Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at St. Otto's Care Center Chapel in Little Falls with visitation one half hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Sauk Centre. Ledvina was born Ludwina Katherine Frie on September 5, 1925 in St. Rosa, Stearns County, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph & Agnes (Austing) Frie. She lived at home with her parents until the age of 23. At that time, she became a ward of the State of Minnesota and lived in various state hospitals. In March, 1984, Ledvina became a resident of St. Camillus Place in Little Falls. She worked at Employment Enterprises in Little Falls. Ledvina had many interests which included listening to Polka and Christmas music, catalogs and magazines, playing games, watching musicals, puzzles, shopping and a good cup of coffee. She enjoyed working and the time spent with her friends and family at St. Camillus. Survivors include her St. Camillus family; a brother, Raymond Frie, of the Twin Cities; and several nieces and nephews. Ledvina was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Agnes (Austing) Frie; siblings, Aloys, Wilhelmina, Leo, Dorothy, Eleanor, Paul, Loretta and Edwin.
