Kimberly Blaisdell

Kimberly Blaisdell, 27 year old resident of the Pierz and Morrill area died Sunday, July 5 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 10 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Brennyville, MN. with Rev. Antonio Mafori officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz and from 9:30-10:30 AM on Friday at the church in Brennyville, MN. She was born November 30, 1981 in St. Cloud Minnesota to James and the late Arlene (Ashfeld) Blaisdell. She graduated from Foley High School in 2000. Kim enlisted in the Army National Guard on January 13, 2000 in Little Falls, MN. She was with Company A 434th MSB at Camp Ripley. Kimberly was deployed to Kuwait on November 23, 2004 and returned home September 16, 2005. She attended St. Cloud Technical College receiving her diploma in 2007. At the time of her death, she was currently working at Camp Ripley as an Administrative Clerk with company HHC 134th BSB. She was a member of the Hillman American Legion Post #602. Kim enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, horseshoes, fishing, deer hunting, dancing, singing karaoke and playing with her nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter, Abbigail. They enjoyed walking, 4-wheeling, picking agates but most of all having mommy and me time together. Kim is survived by her father, James Blaisdell and friend, Linda Burggraff of Pierz, MN; daughter, Abbigail Novak of Pierz, MN; siblings, Jason Blaisdell and wife, Amy, Sheila Wirth and husband, Jesse, Melissa Thell and husband, Bradley all of Foley, MN, John Blaisdell and fiance, Melissa Sam, of Hillman, MN; grandfather, Martin Ashfeld of Watkins, MN; nieces and nephews, Ashley Thell, Carter Thell, Brittany Thell, Tyler Wirth, Brady Wirth, Arlayna Wirth, Gavyn Wirth, Samantha Blaisdell, Mackenzie Blaisdell, Michael Blaisdell and Miranda Sam. She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Blaisdell on June 21, 2002; grandparents, Viola Ashfeld, William and Marie Blaisdell and many uncles, aunts and other relatives.
