Kenneth Bollig, age 75, of Cushing, MN, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013, at Paynesville Area Health Care System in Paynesville, MN. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, 900 - 1st Street SE, Little Falls, MN, with Chaplain Gregg Valentine officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home Burial will be in the Cushing Union Cemetery in Cushing, MN, following the funeral service. Kenneth John Bollig was born on September 22, 1937, in Belle Prairie Township, Morrison County, Minnesota, the son of Anton & Gladys (Noggle) Bollig. He grew up in Belle Prairie Township and attended country school. He was united in marriage to Helen Thorson on February 1, 1958, on Helen's home place near Camp Ripley. The couple lived on their farm near Cushing where they raised their family. Kenneth worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 40 years at Camp Ripley. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, riding his four-wheeler, driving heavy equipment, and farming. He was a member of the Cushing Community Club. He loved and spoiled his six grandchildren. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Helen of Cushing; children, Kenneth (Booty) Bollig, Cindy (Leon) Brownell, Judy (Herb) Schroeder, and Scott (Brenda) Bollig; grandchildren, Leon "Dewey Boy" Brownell, Kayla "Lee" Brownell, Tiffany "Ann" Schroeder, Kaitlynn "Kaitzie Baby" Bollig, Derek "Buddy Boy" Bollig and Herb "Little Herbert" Schroeder; siblings, Shirley Kedrowski, Ivan Bollig, Nancy Post, Betty Kedrowski, Jeanette Kedrowski, Mary Lou Post, Anton Bollig, Jr., Marvin Bollig, and Irene Post, and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Anton & Gladys (Noggle) Bollig and a brother, LeRoy Bollig. Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Brownell, Kayla Brownell, Tiffany Schroeder, Kaitlynn Bollig, Derek Bollig and Herb Schroeder. Casketbearers will be Kyle Gilson, Jeff Kedrowski, John Kempenich, Todd Kedrowski, Marty Thorson, and Jamey Gilson
