Kenneth "KC" Reinhart 69-year-old resident of Little Falls died Saturday; August 26 surrounded by his loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 2 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Ben Kociemba officiating. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 1 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 2 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.
Kenneth Reinhart was born on November 11, 1953 in Little Falls to the late Kenneth K. and Joan (Tuller) Reinhart. He grew up and attended school in Little Falls, graduating with the class of 1971. KC worked at Schaffer’s Red Owl in Little Falls early on in life. He worked for the city of Little Falls for 28 years, as the assistant fire chief, equipment operator and volunteer fireman. After retirement, he enjoyed working odd jobs for various friends and family. KC was united in marriage to Mary Banach on July 26, 1974 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pierz. The couple made their home in Little Falls and were blessed with two daughters, Stephanie and Melissa. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family, watching the birds in the backyard, cooking and wood working. The annual fishing trips with the boys to Lost Acres Resort in Black Duck was always an enjoyable time with many laughs and memories made. KC treasured his time spent with his family especially his grandchildren, Jackson, Harrison, Cali and Colton. The "Card Club" crew was always an enjoyable evening and lifelong friendships made. KC was a member of the Sons of American Legion and St. Mary's Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Reinhart of Little Falls; daughters, Stephanie (Steve) Welle of St. Augusta and Melissa (Eric) Steingraber of Hudson, WI; grandchildren, Jackson and Harrison Welle and Cali and Colton Steingraber; siblings, Mary Jo (Bob) Litke of Backus, Kathy Garlock of Little Falls, James (Amy) Reinhart of Little Falls, Michael (Sheila) Reinhart of Mankato; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Connie Banach of Lastrup, Catherine and Denny Rothstein of Pierz, Dode Pohlkamp and Kevin Thesing of Brainerd and many nieces, nephews and friends. KC's dogs, Autumn and Rosie held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Reinhart; sister, Jennifer Reinhart and a sister-in-law, Lori Reinhart; father and mother- in- law, Emil and Marie Banach, brother-in-law, Joe Banach; nephews, Michael Pohlkamp and Nathan Rothstein and a niece Carrie Thesing.
