Kathleen Allord

Kathleen Allord, 84 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Diamond Willow in Little Falls. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11 AM at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Father Joseph Herzing officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery.

Kathleen was born on August 27, 1933 in Marystown, MN to Roman and Louise (Klehr) Menden. She was united in marriage to Clayton Allord on October 25, 1951 at Our lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. Together the couple raised nine children on their farm on Little Elk River. Kathleen worked as a cleaning aide at Larson Boats, a machine operator at T.O. Plastics, and as a janitor at Little Falls Middle School. She enjoyed dancing with her husband in earlier years, word finds, playing cards, and canning. She had a green-thumb for growing Easter Lillies and morning glories. Kathleen will be remembered for the scrumptious bread that she baked in coffee cans. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Sharon (John) Bassett, Mary (Dennis) Brausen, Ralph Allord, Beth (Henry) Birr, Margaret (Donald) Sahr, Gary (Pam) Allord, Brenda (Paul) Petersen, Eugene (Heidi) Allord; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Sanoski, and Diane Allord.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Michelle Allord; daughter, Dorothy Sanoski; sister, Mary Mondloch; and brother, Ronald Menden.
