Julia S. Zyvoloski, age 66, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 26, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Skaria Johnus Cherunilath officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 25, 2009 and 8:00 - 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 26th at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, 900 - 1st Street SE, Little Falls, MN. There will be a Rosary at 4:30 P.M. followed by a Parish Prayer service at 5:30 P.M. Julia Schmidt was born on October 13, 1943 in Glencoe, MN, the daughter of Edward & Hazel (Dumbeck) Schmidt. She attended school in Glencoe and Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Eugene Zyvoloski on July 31, 1961 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN. The couple made their home on the farm in Pike Creek Township, Morrison County where they raised their family. Julia enjoyed art (painting), gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling to Florida with her husband to visit their daughter. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eugene of Little Falls; children, Stephen (Jileen) Zyvoloski of Circle Pines, MN, Alma (Steve) Kremer of Lakeville, MN, Sheila (Scott) Peterson of Circle Pines, MN, and James Zyvoloski of Burnsville, MN; siblings, Delwin (Margie) Schmidt of St. Paul, MN, Edes Gerwing of Little Falls, MN, Avit (Bonnie) Schmidt of Pierz, MN, Roger (Ely) Schmidt of Savage, MN; six grandchildren, Jaime Zyvoloski, Jordan Zyvoloski, Amber Kremer, Abby Kremer, Alyssa Kremer, Will Peterson; sister-in-law, Flossie Schmidt of Roseville; brother-in-law, George Kucera of Faribault, MN. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Hazel (Dumbeck) Schmidt; infant daughter, Annette Zyvoloski; brother, Delbert Schmidt and sister, Bertille Kucera.
