Judy A. Sobania

Judy A. Sobania, 63 year old resident of Royalton, MN died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. Wed., March 25, 2009 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN with Father Laurn Virnig officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Tues. March 24th and from 12-1 PM on Wed. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Royalton, MN. Christian mothers will say a rosary at 4:30 PM followed by parish prayers at 7 PM Tues. evening at the funeral home. Judy Ann Sobania was born on October 14, 1945 in St. Cloud, MN to the late John and Margaret (Ziwicki) Wolf. She was united in marriage to Arthur W. Sobania on October 26, 1968 at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Gilman, MN. She worked at Treasure City, Gamble's and the Black and White Cafe in Little Falls. Judy later worked at Hardware Hank in Little Falls for 30 plus years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton where she was a religion teacher, Christian Mothers, and member of funeral association. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, gardening, spending time with her family and cooking and baking. Judy loved interacting with people. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Art Sobania of Royalton, MN; daughter, Michelle (Bryon) Sonquist of Blaine; grandson, Alec Sonquist; brothers and sister, Patty (Adrian) Jurek of Rice, MN, Kenny (Judy) Wolf , Chuck Wolf and Ricky Wolf all of Foley, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret (Ziwicki) Wolf and son, Robert Sobania. Serving as casket bearers will be Shawn Jurek, Dave Posch, Brady Wolf, Daniel Posch, Christopher Sobania, Johnny Wolf and Alec Sonquist.
