Judith Judy A. Rahn, 64 year old resident of Bowlus, MN, died Sunday, May 18 at her home with her loving family by her side.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN, with Father John Odero officiating. The burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 21 and from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church on Thursday. The parish prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:00 P.M. at the church.
Judy Jendro was born on August 27, 1949 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Clarence and Johanna (Waletzki) Jendro.As a young girl she moved with her family to Morrison County, MN.She attended school in Royalton, MN and graduated with the class of 1967.Judy then attended the St. Cloud Business College for two years.She worked for the Black and White Hamburger Shop, the VA Hospital in St. Cloud, MN and the St. Cloud Post Office.Judy was united in marriage to Dale Rahn on September 14, 1990 in St. Cloud, MN.The couple made their home in Bowlus, MN, where she was a seamstress for Rahns Custom Boats for the last 24 years.Judy was a member of the Two River Snowmobiling Club.She was always willing to put her own needs aside to help family and friends with benefits or other events.Judy enjoyed bird watching, snowmobiling, fishing, playing cards (Smear) and shaking dice (10,000). She treasured her time spent with her husband, Dale on their trips to Las Vegas and most recently to Mexico.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dale Rahn of Bowlus, MN; children, Steve Thommes of St. Cloud, MN, Kellie Thommes of Cumberland, WI, Jason Rahn and Justin Rahn of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Marissa Kreifels and Brittni Kreifels; siblings, David Jendro (Marie) of LaPorte, MN, Sharon Fleischhacker (Ervin) of Paynesville, MN, Ralph Jendro of Pierz, MN, Audrey Kloss (Ronald) of Royalton, MN and Gary Jendro of Royalton, MN; father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and June Rahn of Burtrum, MN; brother-in-law, Wayne (Janice) Rahn of Burtrum, MN; sister-in-law, Pam (Randy) Block of Lastrup, MN and 35 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Johanna (Waletzki) Jendro and a nephew, Thomas Jendro.
