Josephine. A. Winskowski, age 98 of Little Falls, MN passed Sunday, March 23, 2008 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Tuesday and 8-10 A.M. Wednesday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel) in Little Falls, MN. Christian Mothers will pray the at rosary at 4:30 P.M. followed by parish prayers at 6:00 P.M. Josephine Ann Winskowski was born March 19, 1910 in Holdingford, Stearns County, MN to the late Ignatius & Ann (Bieniek) Wentland. She grew up in a family of twelve children. Josephine was united in marriage to Edwin Winskowski on September 24, 1929 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Holdingford, MN. After moving to Little Falls, MN and raising their children, Josephine worked at The Homestead and as a seamstress at Munsingwear in Little Falls, MN. Her fondest "Mom Service" was taking care of her grandchildren and her love for gardening and canning. Josephine also loved fishing and deer hunting. She took her produce to the Morrison County Fair and by doing so, won many blue ribbons. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN and the Christian Mothers. She is survived by daughters & son, Marge Barnes of Little Falls, MN, Marian Johnson & husband, Orville, of Minneapolis, MN, Janet Swenson of Little Falls, MN, George Winskowski & wife, Marlys, of Little Falls, MN, Lucille Lindeen & husband, Harold, of California; sisters Dorothy Psyck of Bowlus, MN; brothers, Leo Wentland & wife, Doris, Ambrose Wentland & Louis Wentland & wife, Eleanor, all of Holdingford, MN; fourty grandchildren and seventy-two great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; parents; sons, Edwin Winskowski, Jr & Eugene Marsolek; daughter, Loretta Marotte; sisters, Rose Marsolek, Mary Wentland, Adelaide Stanek; brothers, Roman, Stanley, Arthur & Anthony Wentland; sons-in-law, George Barnes, Melvin Marotte & Sexton Swenson and four grandchildren. Casketbearers are George Marotte, Bradley Johnson, Brian Winskowski, Todd Winskowski, Tom Swenson, Chris Rekowski, Jerry Barnes & Eric Swenson. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Barnes, Sharon Sanderson, Kim Erdrich, Julie Okerman, Lois Wolkoviak, John Barnes, Alan Barnes, George Barnes, David Barnes, Michael Barnes & Rick Okerman.
