Josephine Copa, 98 old resident of Little Falls, MN died Wednesday, June 18 at the Little Falls Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Joseph Herzing officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday at the church. The burial will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery. A Christian Mothers rosary will be said at 10:15 A.M. Saturday morning at the church.
Josephine Olesch was born May 30, 1916 in Little Falls, MN to the late Frank and Cecilia (Wroblewski) Olesch.Josephine grew up and attended school in Little Falls, MN. She was united in marriage to Frank Copa on April 16, 1940 at St. Adalberts Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls, MN.Josephine was a stay at home mother, raising the couples two boys. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and sharing her bake goods with family and friends.Josephine and Frank were members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Douglas F. Copa (Beverly) of Baxter, MN, Richard Ozzie (Pat Kuesel) of Fort. Ripley, MN; grandchildren, Lisa (Don) Ippolite of Chetek, WI, Cindy (Bill) Warman of St. Augusta, MN, Krista (Todd) Johnson of Brainerd, MN; great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Scott) Sye, Ryan Day, Jenna Warman, Patrick Warman, Matthew Warman, Jayda Johnson, Sydnee Johnson, Suzzanne Ippolite, Dominick Ippolite; great-great-grandchildren, Avery Sye, Ashlynn Sye and Ayden Sye.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cecilia Olesch; husband, Frank Copa; siblings, Dominick, Roman, Joseph Olesch, Lillian Moritz and Frances Olesch; great-granddaughter, Kylee Jo Johnson.
