Joseph "Romie" Wielinski, age 82, of Little Falls, MN passed away on July 2, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 11 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Father Alan Wielinski officiating. The burial will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A time of gathering for family and friends will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of the service on Tuesday at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service.

Joseph "Joe" Wielinski was born on February 11, 1941 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Joseph and Cecelia (Lepinski) Wielinski. Joe grew up in Little Falls, where he attended Our Lady of Lourdes grade school. He graduated from Little Falls Community High School. He worked for the Hennepin Paper Company for over 40 years. He treasured his cabin on Fish Trap Lake, where he enjoyed fishing for many summers. Joe was united in marriage to Margaret (Hayes) Witt on July 28, 1975 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple made their home on the West Side of Little Falls for many years. Joe loved gathering with his many friends at the West Side Bar for morning coffee and shaking dice. He also enjoyed his trips out west to Wyoming hunting Antelope, grouse hunting locally and making new friends along the way. Joe enjoyed gardening, taking care of his lawn and old tractors. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #1804.
He will forever be remembered and loved by his sister, Margaret Plunkett; granddaughter, Laura (Steve) Wright, grandson, Paul Miller; nieces and nephews, Jerry (Linda) Wimmer, Tom (Brenda) Wimmer, Greg Tuttle, Pat (Jerry) Poster, Mike Wozniak, Jeff Wozniak, Roberta (Ed) Heidebrecht, Tina (Bob) Cattane, Chris (Be) Plunkett, Jim Kessler and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Wielinski in 2017; niece, Mary Jo Wimmer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara (Zalton) Szakasits, Lucille (Leonard) Wimmer, Genevieve (Jerry) Kessler and Jim Plunkett.
