John Crary, 80 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Thursday, February 24 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Johnus Cherunilath officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls and from 8:30-10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. John Rollie Crary was born June 15, 1930 in Crary, North Dakota to the late Rollie and Mary (Schmidt) Crary. As a young boy, John's family moved to Pierz, MN, where he attended school. After completing his schooling, John worked for Crestliner Boats for over 25 years as an over the road truck driver. John was united in marriage to Margaret Marsolek on October 26, 1950 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls, MN. Margaret died on October 3, 2004. John was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 32 years. He took great pride in his yard work and even painted his driveway to keep things tidy. John enjoyed fishing, driving and going to the casino. Left to cherish his memory are his children, John (Annie) Crary of Lake Zurich, IL, Robert (Becky) Crary of Spokane, WA, David (Krista) Crary of Spokane, WA, Cheryl (John) Ackerman of Farmington, MN, Susan (Scott) Lossing of Eden Prairie, MN, Linda Crary of Maple Grove, MN, Barbara (Matt) Chase of Spokane, WA; brother, Joe (Joyce) Crary of Coon Rapids, MN; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Crary on October 3, 2004 and a sister, Josephine Jacobson.
