John "Jack" A. Herbaugh Jr., age 61 of Little Falls, MN passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Pine Grove Manor in Little Falls. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. at the home of his son, Brady; daughter, Alyssa and former wife and friend, Deb, at 17235 Riverwood, Little Falls, MN with the Rev. Steve Priolla of the First Baptist Church in Little Falls, officiating. John "Jack" A. Herbaugh, Jr. was born September 27, 1946 in California. He grew up near Laguna Beach, CA. He attended and graduated from high school. He went on to college and received his Bachelor of Science Degree and later received a Master's Degree in Social Work. Jack played football in high school, college and played professional football with the Los Angles Rams for two years. He was united in marriage to Deb Berg on February 24, 1990 in Fargo, ND. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Fargo. Jack attended school in Fargo and worked in an Adolescence Treatment Center. Jack and Deb moved to Rochester, MN in 1994. There he attended Augsburg College and worked at an Adult Recovery Center. In 1996, the couple returned to Fargo and in 1997, moved to Little Falls where he resided until his death. It was during this time that Jack became disabled. He was a member of AA and NA. Jack is survived by his son, Brady Herbaugh and his daughter, Alyssa Herbaugh, both of Little Falls, MN; former wife & friend, Deb Herbaugh of Little Falls, MN; brother, Tom Herbaugh & companion, Melody White of Summerset, CA; half- brother, Ed Herbaugh & half-sister, Vicki Herbaugh, both of California and step-mother, Helen Herbaugh of Sonoma, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
