Joan "Patsy" Shuman

Joan Patricia Shuman, 69 Year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her residence in Little Falls, MN. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, December 26 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN, with Father John Odero officiating.The burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Bowlus, MN. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Joan was born April 23, 1944 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota to the late Frank and Martha (Opatz) Shuman.She attended school in St. Paul, MN.As a young girl Joan moved with her family to Holdingford, MN in 1958. The family moved to Bowlus, MN in 1966. Joan moved to Little Falls, MN in 2000 where she was a resident of Divine Home Care.She worked at Employment Enterprises in Little Falls, MN for several years. Joan enjoyed raising pets when she was a young girl especially ducks.She enjoyed working on art projects especially picture collages.


Left to cherish her memory are brothers, Robert Bob Shuman of Eden Prairie, MN, Edward Ed (Cathy) Shuman of Monticello, MN; nieces and nephews, Greg, Jeffrey, Christopher, Jenny, Amanda and Melissa and 17 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha Shuman and other relatives and friends.
