Jerome "Jerry" C. Lentner 80 year old resident of Little Falls, MN formerly of Gilman, MN, died Friday, September 14 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 18 at 11:00 A.M. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, MN with Father Luke Steiner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the church. Jerry Lentner was born September 1, 1932 in Graham Township to the late Casmier and Julia (Trutwin) Lentner. He had farmed most of his life near Gilman in Benton County. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had served on the Gilman Creamery Board. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling and gardening. Jerry's volunteer works includes countless hours at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, from ushering to building bazaar booths to serving on many parish committee projects. He enjoyed giving his time for God and his church. Jerry had a gentle soul. He went through his life helping others. He was always able to see the good in everyone. Jerry will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Tim (Suzette), Sue Carlson, Jane Yager, Ron (Julie), Paul (Lisa); sister, Rita Jurek; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Frank, Angeline Fisher, Helen Lancaster, Roman, Leona Stachovich, Anna Nesenson, Stanley, John, Florian, Pauline Hildebrandt and Casmier Jr. The family would like to extend sincerest thanks to the staff at St. Otto's Care Center, St. Gabriels' Hospital and Dr. Ryan Kray. Memorials are preferred to the Poor Clares Monastery and Salvation Army.
