Jason D. Ramsdell

Jason D. Ramsdell, age 27, died at his home in Fort Ripley, MN, on Friday, February 12, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 and 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Jason Duane Ramsdell was born on April 26, 1982 in Little Falls, MN, the son of Randy & Glenys (Morris) Ramsdell. He attended school in Little Falls graduating from Little Falls High School, Class of 2000. He continued his education at Central Lakes College in Brainerd where he received an Associate Degree and St. Scholastica in Duluth where he would have received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management in 2010. Jason worked at the Snack Bar at Camp Ripley for seven years during his high school and college years. He then worked for five years for his brother Shawn at his company, SR Tree & Landscape. Jason adored his niece, Ivori and his nephews, Hunter and Hayden. He also enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts, going out with his friends (he was always on the go), traveling, and especially enjoyed talking on the phone. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Randy & Glenys (Morris) Ramsdell of Fort Ripley; fiance, Laura Miller of Little Falls; siblings, James "Jamie" (Jennifer) Ramsdell of Rice and Chris (Tara) Ramsdell and their children, Hunter & Hayden, of Fort Ripley; sister-in-law, Maria Rauch and her daughter, Ivori of Little Falls; grandmother, Violet Ramsdell of Verndale and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Jason was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Ramsdell (July 14, 2009); grandparents, Virgil & Rita Morris and Norman Ramsdell; aunts, Nancy Ramsdell and Wendy Wickman and cousin, Ashley Schonrock.
