Janice Schubert

June 30, 1946 — March 28, 2014

Janice Schubert, age 67, of Rural Harding, MN passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN, with Fr. David Maciej officiating.A private interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding with Parish Prayers at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by Rosary Sodality at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service.

Janice was born on June 30 1946, in Brainerd, Minnesota the daughter of John Ed & Malinda (Klepel) Cronquist.She graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd with the Class of 1964.On May 28, 1966, Janice was united in marriage to Eddie Schubert at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN.The couple made their home on a farm in Platte Lake Township in Crow Wing County.Together the couple dairy farmed and owned and operated Platte Lake Steel.Janice enjoyed knitting, gardening, horse drawn wagon rides and watching sunsets.She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding and the Rosary Sodality.Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eddie Schubert of Harding; children, Carol (Alan) Welle of Hillman, MN andTom (Dondi) Schubert of Brainerd, MN; grandchildren, Megan, Christopher, Kari and Jonathan Welle and Jamie, Ty, Lane and Tate Schubert, and Codey and Chelsea Fleischhacker; siblings, Delwyn Cronquist of Eagle Bend, MN, Alvina Kisor of Pierz, MN, Beverly (Dave) Schubert of Brainerd, MN, and Milan Buddy (Marge) Cronquist of Sauk Rapids, MN and sister-in-law, Marie Cronquist of Pierz, MN

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, John Ed & Malinda Cronquist; in-laws, Ervin Swede & Louise Schubert; brother, Vernon Cronquist; brother-in-law, Ralph Kisor and godson, Clyde Kisor.

In Lieu of flowers, family requests memorials which will be given to Janices favorite charities.
