Janelle Marie Pekula

Janelle "Pookie" Marie Pekula was born November 4, 1986 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to Roland J. and Julie A. (Kliber) Pekula. She grew up in Sobieski. Janelle attended Lincoln Elementary School, Little Falls Middle School and Little Falls High School/CEC where she received her GED. She worked at McDonald's in Little Falls, the Little Falls Humane Society and the China Dragon in Little Falls. Janelle enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings, playing Little Six Baseball, her women's softball and volleyball leagues, dart league, bowling league, deer hunting, snowmobiling, babysitting, but especially talking on her cell phone and being on Facebook on her computer. Janelle loved all animals especially her horse, Hershey, her dog, Betsy and her cats. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Roland & Julie Pekula, of Sobieski, MN; siblings, Jeremy (Andrea) Pekula of Little Falls, MN and Jennifer (Nic Schweisthal) Pekula of Little Falls, MN; nephews, Tristan and Jackson Pekula, of Little Falls, MN; grandparents, Leonard & Geraldine Pekula, of Little Falls, MN; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Janelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Nixie Kliber and her great-grandparents.
