Jane Gibson Weber

Jane Weber, age 93, of Little Falls, MN, went home to heaven on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Marys Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Ploof officiating. The Visitation will be from 10-11 and memorial mass at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.


Jane Gibson Harch was born on June 8, 1922 in Brainerd, MN to the late JP and Jeanette Harch. She attended high school in Virginia, MN. and college at the University of Minnesota where she received a Business Degree. She was united in marriage to John Weber on September 5, 1945 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Virginia, MN. While serving in the Navy, they resided in Alameda, CA and in Japan. In 1947, John and Jane moved to Little Falls, MN. building their home on the banks of the Mississippi River. The couple were members of St. Marys Catholic Church. Jane was active in her community serving in organizations such as Christian women, Mrs. Jaycees, Hospital Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels and Camp Fire. She had a love for bridge, reading, traveling and bird watching. Spending time with family was a priority, often a cheerleader on the sidelines of her grandchildrens athletic events. Above all Jane taught all of us to put God first and approach each day with a smile on our faces.




Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary (John) Bigalke of Excelsior, MN, Lois (Doug) Anderson of Little Falls, MN and Jeanne Pearson of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Jeremy (Soraya) Bigalke, Ben (Shannon Farrell) Bigalke, Lindsey (Austin) Sittko, Todd (Lyndsey) Anderson Ross Pearson and Beth Pearson; great-grandchildren, Magnus Bigalke, Ramsay Bigalke, Kohen Anderson, Sydney Sittko and Astrid Farrell Bigalke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. John Weber and infant son, John William Weber.

In lieu of flowers. Memorials are preferred to St. Marys Catholic Church, Morrison County Food Shelf or donors choice.
