James P. Zasmeta

James P. Zasmeta, age 83, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls.

A funeral service will be held at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating.Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Little Falls.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2nd at the funeral home.

James Philip Zasmeta was born on August 16, 1931, in Atikin County, Minnesota the son of James J. & Abby T. (Breyer) Zasmeta.He lived up in Atikin County for a short time before moving to a farm in Belle Prairie Township north of Little Falls.James had a number of jobs which included, driving milk truck, driving school bus for Earl LeMieur and various jobs on the side.James enjoyed collecting pop cans and attending auction sales.He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Josephine (William) Walsh of Pierz, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James J. & Abby T. (Breyer) Zasmeta; sisters, Clara Zilka, Marie Zasmeta, and Anna Zasmeta, and a brother, Thomas Zasmeta.
