Jacob A Virnig

Jacob A. Virnig, 8 months, of Pierz, MN passed away at his home unexpectedly on Monday, September 18, 2006. Mass of The Angels will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2006 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Fr. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, Minnesota. Rosary will be at 4:30 p.m., Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. followed by Knights of Columbus Office of The Dead at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Jacob was born on January 14, 2006 in Little Falls, MN to Kevin & Rose (Scapanski) Virnig. Jacob loved going to the Virnig family farm where he enjoyed riding the tractor and petting the animals. He was a very active little boy who couldn't sit still and was very curious, always aware of his surroundings. Jacob was always learning new things. He will forever be remembered by his big broad smiling face. Jacob is survived by parents, Kevin & Rose (Scapanski) Virnig of Pierz, MN; grandparents, Jim & Loura Virnig of Pierz, MN and Rita Scapanski of Mayhew Lake, MN; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relative and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Scapanski and aunt, Cindy Virnig. Casket Bearers will be Tim Scapanski, Tom Scapanski, Mark Virnig and Tony Virnig.
