Ione M. Booth

Ione M. Booth, age 83, of Little Falls, MN, formerly of Bowlus, MN, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014, at St. Gabriels Hospital in Little Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN, with Fr. John Odeor officiating.Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, and 10:00 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday all at the church.

There will be a parish prayers at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church.

Ione Marie Booth was born on December 24, 1930, in Bowlus, MN, the daughter of Henry & Natalia (Burggraff) Booth.She attended school in Bowlus through the eighth grade and Royalton High School graduating with the Class of 1948.Following her schooling, Ione worked in Minneapolis.In 1964, she moved back to Bowlus to care of her parents.She continued living in Bowlus following the death of her parents.She took on the role of caretaker for the entire family.She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus.She enjoyed embroidery and listening to the radio.

Left to cherish her memory are siblings, Betty (Francis) Wettstein of Aitkin, MN, and Marlene (David) Richtsmeier of Burnsville, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Ione was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Natalia Booth; brothers, James, Albert, Bob and infant brother, Roman; niece, Nancy Posch and nephews, Mark and Tom Booth.
