Gregory A. Greg Woitalla, 51 year old resident of Harding, MN, passed away Monday, May 23 at his home with his family by his side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN with Father David Maciej officiating. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27 at the church in Harding, MN. A Parish Prayer will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. followed by Holy Name Society and Rosary Sodality Rosary at 6 p.m. and Knights of Columbus prayers at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the church.

Gregory Woitalla was born August 8, 1964, in Little Falls, MN to Joseph and Lois (Janson) Woitalla. He attended Harding Elementary, Pierz Healy Jr. High, Crosier High School, and graduated from Pierz Healy High with the class of 1982. Greg attended Brainerd Area Vo.-Tech. Institute where he received an Automotive Mechanic Diploma. Following graduation, he served on the Advisory Board and was an adjunct instructor there. Greg worked at Woitalla Service Inc. most of his life and eventually became co-owner. In August, 2013, he bought the automotive portion of the family business and named it Woitalla Repair Service. Greg was united in marriage to Lynn M. Block on August 8, 1992, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN. The couple made their home in rural Harding, MN. Greg loved his family and treasured his relationship with the Lord. He enjoyed spending time with his family, biking with his children, fishing, being outdoors, playing chess, picking agates, and catching pigeons. He served as the crew chief for his brother, Tom, at North Central Raceway. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where he served on the Parish Council for several years. Greg was active with the Knights of Columbus and Holy Name. He was also a member of the Harding Sportsmans Club and was their gambling manager for a few years.

Greg is survived by his wife, Lynn; children, Jacob Woitalla, Amber Woitalla, and Kathryn Katie Woitalla; parents, Joe Lois Woitalla; siblings, Sue (Greg Tank) Woitalla, Ann Woitalla, Robert (Wife) Woitalla; mother-in-law, Betty Block; brothers-in-law, Clifford Block, Ben (Laurie) Block, Mike (Rhonda) Block; sister-in-law, Kristi Schmidtbauer, Bernice Woitalla; many nieces nephews; a host of relatives, friends business associates.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Woitalla; grandparents Peter Mary Woitalla and Ed Dorothy and Mary Janson; and father-in-law, Clifford Block.
