Germaine Clara "Diehl" Loscheider, 84 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Wednesday at her home in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 A.M. Monday, January 26, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Rev. Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in North of Little Falls, MN. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Sunday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service Southeast Chapel. and from 10-11 A.M. on Monday at the church. Christian Mothers will pray the Rosary at 4:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 5:30 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Military Rites will be conducted by the Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary and the Little Falls V.F.W. Auxiliary. Germaine "Diehl" Loscheider was born June 25, 1924 in Plain, WI at "Diehl's Tap" to the late Albert and Cecilia "Hartl". As a young girl, she attended school East of Rapid City, SD Her family moved to Minnesota and she attended high school in Burtrum, MN. She worked as a street car driver and during the war she worked for Northwest Airlines outfitting bombers. She was united in marriage to Leo Loscheider on September 17, 1945 at St. John's Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN. The couple farmed and made their home in Platte and Pulaski Townships for seven years. The couple moved to Little Falls, MN in the fall of 1953. She worked at JC Penney, Munsingwear, Schaefer's Red Owl and as an office manager for Dr. Nikolai in Little Falls, MN. Germaine attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a member of the Christian Mothers for 63 years in Little Falls, MN. She volunteered at the VA hospital in St. Cloud, MN. She was treasurer for the V.F.W. Auxiliary and Cooties Club in Little Falls, MN. She was also a member of the Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary. Germaine's family meant the world to her. She enjoyed trips to the casino and socializing with family and friends, also a nice Waltz with her husband, Leo. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leo Loscheider of Little Falls, MN; children, Dan Loscheider and wife, Joyce, of Pierz, MN, Tom Loscheider and wife, Wendy, of Little Falls, MN, Mary Wielinski of Coon Rapids, MN, Ron Loscheider and wife, Kathryn, of Little Falls, MN, Jean Loscheider and fiance, Steve Kloss, of Clear Lake, MN; daughter-in-law, Sharon Loscheider of Ramsey, MN; brother, Paul Diehl and wife, Frances, of Sartell, MN; grandchildren, Lisa Huehne, Angie Loscheider, Jason Loscheider, Jessica Omundson, Matt Loscheider, Melissa Kallas, Rebecca Patrick, Randi Wielinski, Bobbi Wielinski, Rachel Loscheider, Joseph Loscheider, John Loscheider, Brittany Loscheider, Darian Riley; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Kaylea, Logan and Kylie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Celia (Hartl) Diehl; son, Robert Henry Loscheider and infant son, Robert Paul Loscheider.
