Geraldine Susan Scepurek, 84 year old resident of Little Falls, MN formerly of Randall, MN died Saturday, October 20 at the Harmony House in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may gather from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 26 and from 8:30-9:30 A.M. on Saturday at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. A parish prayer will be said at 5:00 P.M. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Geraldine S. Kruchten was born February 19, 1928 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to the late Arnold and Lena (Neeser) Kruchten. The family later moved to Brainerd, MN, where she grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to John G. Scepurek on September 13, 1948 in Brainerd, MN. The couple made their home in Parker Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. Geraldine was a homemaker raising the couple's four children. John passed away on April 8, 2002. Geraldine moved into the Harmony House in Little Falls, MN in 2003. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, cross stitching, quilting. She treasured her time spent with her friends, family and most of all her grandchildren. Geraldine is survived by her children, Edwin (Diane) Scepurek of Randall, MN, Mary (Dennis) Colombe of Little Falls, MN, Joanne (Darrell) Misbe of Pierz, MN, James (Anna) Scepurek of Randall, MN; grandchildren, Sam, Charles, Brandon, Brook, Crystal, Grant, Aaron, Jason, Darron, Eric, Erin, Christopher, Kelly, Krista and many great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard (Mary) Kruchten of Brainerd, MN, Mike (Jean) Kruchten of Fort Ripley, MN, David "Bill" (Emma) Kruchten of Fort Ripley, MN, Theresa DeRoiser of Little Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John on April 8, 2002; grandson, Daniel Scepurek; sisters, Eleanor, Victoria, MaryAnn; brothers, Merlin, Jerome and Eugene.
