George R. Suska, 84, of Little Falls, MN passed away on March 18, 2007 at St. Otto's Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, with Fr. Leo Moenkedick & Fr. Raymond Donnay concelebrating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 9:00 a" 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery. George, son of William & Minnie (Krebs) Suska was born February 2, 1923 on the family farm in Swan River Township. He married Betty Gerads on August 29, 1950 in Sobieski, MN, where they farmed until retirement and moved to Little Falls in 2005. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Parish Council and was an usher at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski for many years. He was a former director on Sobieski's Baseball Board, was a member of Farmers Union and was on the Swan River Township Board. He loved Polka Music, going to auctions and dancing to Old-Time Music. George is survived by his wife, Betty Suska of Little Falls, MN; three sons, and four daughters, George Jr. Suska and wife, Jane of Royalton, MN, Mary Yourczek and husband, Jarett of Royalton, MN, Robert Suska and wife, Carolyn of Bowlus, MN, Rosanne Pierce and husband, Dick of Motley, Linda Czech and husband, Florian of Big Lake, MN, Henry Suska and wife, Susan of Sobieski, MN, Terry Thiry and husband, Dale of Cambridge, MN; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Hall of Madison, WI and Lorraine Chiabotti and husband, Ralph of Ely, MN and sister-in-law, Esther Suszka of Sobieski, MN. George was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ambrose, infant daughter, Donna and brother-in-law, Dick Hall. Casket Bearers will be Matthew Suska, Brock Suska, Andrew Yourczek, Ross Pierce, Brandon Czech and Peter Suska. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Suska, Adam Yourczek, Alex Yourczek and Katie Thiry. Arrangements are with the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls (West Chapel), Minnesota.
