Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon Monday, March 3, 2008 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN with Father Johnus officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at the Salem Cemetery in Roseau, MN with a military service. Friends may call from 11 to 12 Noon Monday, March 3rd at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding. Gary Charles Anderson was born February 12, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Gerhard and Bernice (Erickson) Anderson. He grew up in Roseau, MN. Gary served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, Pierz Knights of Columbus and the Pierz American Legion Post #341. Gary enjoyed singing, gardening, dogs, woodworking at the VA, and spending time with his family, nieces, nephews and aunts. Gary is survived by his mother, Bernice Anderson; sisters, Barbara Stamp and Rae Anderson; brothers, Dayton and Steven Anderson; nieces and nephews, Terri, Michael, Tracie, Michael, Renee, Sean and Neal; grand nieces and nephews and aunts, Phoebe and Coral. Gary is survived by his mother, Bernice Anderson; sisters, Barbara Stamp and Rae Anderson; brothers, Dayton and Steven Anderson; nieces and nephews, Terri, Michael, Tracie, Michael, Renee, Sean and Neal; grand nieces and nephews and aunts, Phoebe and Coral. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerhard Anderson and several aunts and uncles. Special thanks to all the staff at Harding Place for their loving care. Gary will be missed.
