Frances "Tootsie" Hines, 84 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died May 15 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 19 at 11:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. Father Skaria Johnus Cherunilath officiating. Friends may call from 9:45 AM until 11:15 AM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Frances was born December 30, 1925 in Little Falls, MN to the late Stanley and Rose (Knopik) Hines. She graduated from Little Falls High School. Frances worked for 37 years in the Register of Deeds office for Morrison County. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Frances was a loving and caring friend to others, giving many neighbors rides, especially to church. Frances enjoyed playing her harmonica in high school. She loved to whistle and was good at whistling tunes. After her retirement, she took care of her parents at home, until they passed away. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, puzzles, flower gardening, embroidering, dancing, bowling and softball. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Esther LeBlanc of Little Falls, MN and Audrey Karpinski of High Point, NC; nephews, James Karpinksi, David Karpinski, Alan Karpinski, Wayne LeBlanc and Dean LeBlanc; nieces, Amy and Ann Karpinski. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Isabelle Karpinski; brother, infant John; brothers-in-law, Jerome LeBlanc, John and Alexander Karpinski.
