Florence Viele, 85 year old resident of Royalton died Friday, April 11 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the Munsinger Clemens Garden in St. Cloud, MN on Saturday, May 17.
Florence Viele was born October 28, 1928 in High River, Alberta Canda, to the late Clarence and Mae Fredell. She graduated from High River High School and attended Mount Royal College in Calgary, Albert. In 1954, she moved to California and in 1959 moved to Lompoc, CA where her three daughters were born, Cindy, Tracy and Teresa.
In 1987, she was united in marriage to Roy M. Viele they were both active in the Half Century Club including the Late Bloomers Band. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed needle point, crocheting and collecting winter cottages, Hummel and figurine houses.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Tracy (Jeff) Anshus of Royalton, MN, Cindy (Jim) Schulyer of AZ and Teresa Hernadez of Lompoc, CA; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy in 2009; siblings, Maxine Cunningham and David Cunningham.
