Evelyn C. Will

Evelyn Will, age 87, of Lastrup, MN., passed away Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Pierz Villa. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006 at St. John's Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN., with Fr. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz. Christian Mothers will pray the rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Evelyn was born on May 12, 1919 in Randall, MN., to Henry & Odilia "Tillie" (Van Hercke) Meyer. The family moved to a farm north of Pierz. Evelyn attended a country school and Little Falls High School. After school Evelyn worked in Superior, WI., Duluth and St. Cloud, MN. Evelyn was united in marriage on September 7, 1942 to Edwin Will at St. Joseph's Church in Pierz, MN. They farmed in the Lastrup area and retired in 1976. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, flowers, nature and her family. Evelyn was a member of St. John's Parish and the Christian Women. Evelyn is survived by her daughter: Joyce (Dennis) Warling of Lake Park, MN.; son: Donald (Marlys) Will of Lastrup, MN.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister: Irene (Peggy) Bushman of Waukesha, WI. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, a sister, Marie Schraut and a brother, Earl Meyer. Casket Bearers will be Evelyn's Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren
