(Goike) Tuttle was born December 17, 1925 in Spring Wells, MI to the late Joseph and Anna (Koctzur) Goike. She received her GED in Wyandotte, MI. Evangeline "Jennie" was united in marriage to Walter Tuttle. The couple was married for 26 years and then divorced. She worked as a bookkeeper her entire life in (Allen Park) Dearborn, MI. In September of 2001, Jennie moved to Little Falls, MN. She lived at the Pine Grove Manor until January of 2011, at which time she became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center where she resided until her death. Jennie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Allen Park, MI. The American Flag was an important part of her life. Because of her brothers serving in the United States military the American Flag was very important to Jennie, so in the past ten years she found herself crocheting a total of 24 American Flags, two of which are displayed at St. Otto's Care Center and the Pine Grove Manor. Along with her crocheting of the flags, Jennie made 84 afghans for her relatives and friends. She enjoyed knitting as well. She loved the Detroit Tigers and was a member of the 65 Roses Club for 30 years for Cystic Fibrosis through the Detroit Tigers Fan Club while living in Michigan. After coming to Minnesota, she became a big fan of the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings. Jennie loved Bingo and played two to three times a week. She loved her annual trips to Minnesota with her sisters and brother. During those trips she was referred to as one of the "Old Crows". Jennie's greatest joy however, was being reunited with her adopted son, Miles and wife, Gail and their family. She is survived by her son Miles (Gail) Jarvis of Novi, MI; brother, Thomas Goike of Howell, MI; sisters, Louise Litner of Allen Park, MI, Elizabeth "Betty" Lashinski of Little Falls, MN and Shirley Roy of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Goike; brothers, Joseph Goike, Jr., Donald Goike, Chester Goike, Jerome Goike, Ted Goike and a sister, Joanne Donna Goike.
