Eugene Hight

Eugene Hight, 85 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Thursday, February 21 in Little Falls, MN. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 27 at 11:00 A.M. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Geary Smith and Rev.Eugene Roger Hight officiating. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery in St. Cloud, MN. Friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Eugene Hight was born April 17, 1927 in Georgia to the late Eugene Steven and Irene (Riplin) Hight. He was united in marriage to Gale Vogel on December 31, 1960. Eugene worked in a coffee brewery in South Minneapolis, MN, for several years. Eugene enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and watching the Minnesota Vikings. He treasured his time spent playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tammy Jean Hight of California, Eugene Roger Hight of North Minneapolis, MN, Helen Hight of Little Falls, MN, Eugene David Hight of St. Cloud, MN and Katherline Marie Hight of Little Falls, MN; step-children, Verna Jean Hultnanof Mounds View, MN, William James (Luann) Nelson of North Minneapolis, MN and Michelle Rutledge of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Nathaniel Hight, JD Hight and a sister all of Georgia. He was preceded in death by parents; Eugene and Irene Hight; wife, Gale Hight and a sister, Lilly Mae Hight.
