Esther Suszka, 88 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, January 27 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 31 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Church in Sobieski, MN with Rev. Leo Moenkedick officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Friday at the Emblom-Brenny South East Chapel and from 8:30 A.M.- 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Rosary Society will pray the rosary at 4:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 5:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Esther Suszka was born March 19, 1920 in Lehigh, Iowa to the late Lee Logan Smith and Celia (Brogotti) Smith. She grew up and attended school in Lehigh, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Ambrose Suszka on December 31, 1955 in Little Falls, MN. The couple farmed all their married lives in Swan River Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. Esther was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Esther is survived by her children, Ed Palluck and wife, Trish, of Cheyenne, WY, Jim Palluck and wife, Rhonda, of Castle Rock, CO, Jeane Schuett and husband, John, of Swanville, MN, Lorraine Decker of Royalton, MN, Bill Suszka of Sobieski, MN and Loretta Suszka of Sobieski, MN; brother, Dr. Pete Smith and wife, Valerie of Tucson, AZ; son-in-law, Don Miller of Denver, CO; daughters-in-law, Melanie Palluck and Patty Palluck of Cheyenne, WY, 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Celia (Brogotti) Smith; husband, Ambrose; children, Carol Miller, Dean Palluck, Dick Palluck, Mary Jo Simon and Tony Suszka;infant granddaughter, Alicia Suszka; brothers, Frank Smith, Gibson Smith, Christy Smith and Floyd Smith; son-in-law, Ed Decker. Casket Bearers will be: Mike Schuett, Jim Schuett, John Schuett, Dustin Suszka, Joe Trutwin, Jarett Yourczek. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Nicholas and Tyler Decker (Serving in Afghanistan) The Wuellner Brothers, John Gorka and Jerry Knutson.
