Esther A. Kummet

Esther Kummet, age 82, of Little Falls, MN, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN, following a courageous fight against cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Nick Landsberger officiating. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 and from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. There will be a Rosary at 4:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. Esther Ann Ringwelski was born on March 29, 1929 in Little Falls, MN, the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Ciminski) Ringwelski. She grew up in Little Falls where she attended elementary school and high school graduating with the Class of 1948. Esther was employed at Victor Clothing in the shoe department until 1954. She was united in marriage to Eldred T. Kummet on June 2, 1954 in Little Falls. The couple made their home in Little Falls where they raised their family. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Little Falls. Esther was an avid Minnesota sports fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Grateful for having shared her life are her three sons, Timothy (Mary) Kummet of Little Falls, MN, Jeffrey (Gail) Kummet of Sauk Rapids, MN, and Robert (Doris) Kummet of Baxter, MN; two daughters, Lynn (Dennis) Dombovy of Harding, MN, and Julie (David) Vosen of Wabasha, MN; sisters, Betty (Lee) Kohs of St. Cloud, MN and Patricia (Al) Reinke of Little Falls, MN; brother-in-law, Lloyd Kummet of Brainerd, MN; and six grandchildren, Brian Kummet of Little Falls, MN, Alan (Allison) Kummet of Champlin, MN, Scott Kummet of Sartell, MN, Shannon Kummet of Minneapolis, MN, Megan (Rob) Mueller of Brainerd, MN, and Hailey Vosen of Wabasha, MN. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Eldred T. Kummet (August 13, 2000); parents, Vincent and Anna (Ciminski) Ringwelski; brothers, Joseph, Clarence, John, Richard and James Ringwelski; sisters, Dolores Evans and Janet Chandler; step-brothers, Tom and Sylvester Ringwelski and step-sisters, Hattie Copa and Rose Johnson.
