Ervin E. Lardy Ervin E. Lardy, 73 year old resident of Buckman, MN died Monday, September 15 at his home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. with Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Thursday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN and from 9:30 until the hour of service on Friday at the church in Buckman, MN. Rosary will be said at 4:30 PM followed by Parish Prayers at 6:30 PM Ervin was born December 12, 1934 in Scoby, MT to the late Ray and Lydia (Severt) Lardy. He graduated from St. Cloud Tech high school. Ervin was united in marriage to Virginia "Ginger" Snider on June 1st, 1956 in Neche, N.D. He worked in underground construction for Barbarossa and Sons in Osseo, MN for 33 years as a superintendent. He also worked for local contractors during his retirement years. Ervin loved his underground work very much. He enjoyed going to auctions, fishing, restoring old machinery, the outdoors and playing cards with family and friends. Ervin's greatest enjoyment was his time spent with his family. Ervin is survived by his loving wife, Virginia "Ginger" Lardy of Buckman, MN; sons, Steve Lardy and wife, Jeannie, of Altamont, KS, Randy Lardy and wife, Jenny, of Pierz, MN, Mark Lardy and wife, Diane, of Richmond, MN; daughters, Janel Kral and husband, Rod, of Sartell, MN, Cathy Loidolt and husband, Tom, of Pierz, MN; brothers, Marvin Lardy and wife, Mary, of St. Cloud, MN, Bob Lardy and wife, Barb, of Clearlake, MN, David Lardy and wife, Pat, of Tennessee; sisters, Lois Danzl of Cottage Grove, MN and Donna Milner and husband, Dave, of Dale, IN. 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and granddaughter, Morgan Lardy. Honorary Casket bearers will be his grandsons, Christopher Lardy, Aaron Lardy, Justin Lardy, Jordan Loidolt, Preston Loidolt and Chase Lardy.
