Elizabeth L. Talberg

Elizabeth L. Talberg, 81 year old resident of Hillman, MN died Monday, August 6 at her home in Hillman. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 10 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ritas Catholic Church in Hillman with Father Greg Poser. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz and from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Friday at the church. The burial will be held on Monday, August 13 at 2:00 P.M. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls.



Elizabeth loved to play scrabble, puzzles, camping and neighborhood get togethers. She enjoyed times spent with her brothers and sisters at the local casinos. In her younger years she bowled in several leagues and loved spending time with the Alley Cats. Elizabeth Treasured her time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was well known for her famous buns, everyone always loved them. She always had an open door and food and beer was enjoyed by all. Elizabeth always sent the best birthday cards they were always the funniest and fit everyone to a T.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Ray Talberg of Hillman; children, Sharon Talberg of Mounds View, Thomas (Debbie) Talberg of Hillman, Lori (Tom) Fenna of Hillman, Mary (Darvin) Kapsner of Hillman; siblings, Mary Prehatney of Brooklyn Park, Doloros Susie Bialke of Foley, Dorothy Brynam of Princeton, Joe, Jr Sluss of Pierz; sister-in-law, Ann Sluss of Circle Pines; grandchildren, Nick Kapsner, Travis Talberg, Jessica Schyma, Katie Fenna, Jeremy Kapsner, Jordan Fenna and Megan Kapsner; great-grandchildren, Trig Kapsner, Gauge Talberg, Kruz Kapsner, Grayson Talberg, Myles Schyma, Grantley Talberg, Grace Schyma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sophie Sluss and a brother, Donald Sluss.
