Elinor M. Sellman 75 year old resident of Upsala, MN, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, at Community Covenant Church in Upsala, MN with Rev. Craig Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Friends and family may gather from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday at the church Arrangements are with the Emblom-Brenny funeral service in Upsala, MN. 1-320-632-4393. Elinor was born in Two Harbors, MN to the late Martin and Edith (Youngfeldt) Anderson. She grew up in Two Harbors, MN. Elinor graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1949. After completing her schooling she worked as an executive secretary for Reserve Mining in Two Harbors, MN. On January 19, 1952 she was united in marriage to Earl Sellman in Two Harbors, MN. The couple lived in Two Harbors from 1952 until 1959. In 1959, they moved to Roseville, MN from 1959-1969. In 1969, they moved to Brooklyn Center, MN and resided there until 1993. The couple retired to Clearwater, MN. In 1993 and lived there until moving to Upsala, MN in 2003 where they currently live. The couple has enjoyed spending winters the past 18 years in Tempe, AZ. Elinor was a member of Community Covenant Church in Upsala, MN and Grace Church in Peoria, AZ. She was an officer with the Eastern Star. Elinor enjoyed reading, cooking, oil painting and was a wonderful listener to her family and friends. Elinor is survived by her husband, Earl Sellman of Upsala, MN; Son, Todd Sellman and wife, Suzette of Honolulu, HI; daughters, Marcia Weedman and husband, Jeffrey of Tempe, AZ, Sue Ann Aleckson and husband, Roger of Upsala, MN; sister, Irene Fjosne of Duluth, MN; grandchildren, Shawn Fehn, Amanda Allen, Jesse Aleckson, Melissa Weedman, Reuben Aleckson, Elizabeth "Liz" Aleckson. 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Edith Anderson.
