Eleanor Jabas, 94 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Wednesday, April 10 at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 13 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Father Joseph Herzing. The burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Bowlus, MN. A time of gathering will be held from 9:30-11:00 A.M. on Saturday at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Eleanor Lucille Heatherston was born October 13, 1918 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota to the late John Heatherston and Mary (Hodnett) Heatherston. She grew up and attended Mechanic Arts High School in St. Paul, MN, graduating in 1936. She worked for Adolf and Shetka Sons for over 30 years. Eleanor also worked for the St. Paul Public Library for 10 years. She loved being Irish. Eleanor enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidery, loved singing and was an avid reader. She was a member of Our Lady Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, the Edgewater Coffee Club and T.O.P.S. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lawrence "John" Selb of Little Falls, MN; step-son, Dave (Amy) of Apple Valley, MN; step-daughter, Ann of St. Paul, MN sister-in-law, Lorraine Tepel-Heatherston of White Bear Lake, MN; grandson, Lawrence Young , two step grandchildren, Christopher and Molly Jabas and two great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Heatherston; husbands, Lawrence John Selb and John Jabas; sister, Mary; brothers, Richard, Bernard "Bernie", Cyril and Leonard .
