Eleanor Benshoof

Born Dec. 29, 1929 to Gustave E. Hensel and Elenore C. Hensel, nee Gabbert in Howard Lake, MN and died on Feb. 1, 2019 in Little Falls, MN peacefully with son Keith with her in her last days. Graduated Howard Lake High School in 1947. Married Kenneth H. Landsman in 1948, divorced 1971. Had four children, Sally, Keith, Kathie and Harold. Married Merle V. Benshoof in 1972. Married until his death in 1993. Preceded in death by parents, brother Leonard G. Hensel, step daughter Cindy Benshoof, daughter Kathie Ellen Litschke, grandson Benjamin M. Carlson, nephews Donald C. Landsman and Dennis W. Landsman. Survived by daughter Sally (Jan Craig Carlson); sons Keith W. Landsman, Harold K. Landsman (Kathy) and stepson Michael Benshoof; nephews Larry L., Robert J. and Alan J. Hensel, Gary C., Bradley J. and Randy L. Landsman; niece Jean (Landsman) Forbord; many grandchildren and friends. Special thanks to Central Minnesota Senior Care, Little Falls, MN staff and residents for all their kindness and humanity towards Eleanor during her many years there. Eleanor was cremated; a memorial will be held as well as a burial (with Merle).
