Elaine Opal Hagstrom

Elaine (McDuffie) Hagstrom, 90 year old resident of Little Falls, MN formerly of Brainerd, MN died Friday, August 17 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 23 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd, MN. Friends may gather from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service and from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Elaine Sea was born June 12, 1922 in Pekin, Illinois to the late Leonard and Anna Marie (Marriet) Sea. She was united in marriage to Paul Emmerson McDufee in 1943 in Peoria, IL. The couple resided in several states throughout the Midwest and they later divorced. Elaine moved to Minnesota and resided in Brainerd, MN. During her time in Brainerd she worked as a nurse's assistant in the Woodland Nursing Home in Brainerd, MN for over twenty years. She also worked at the Country Store Candy for ten years. She became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN in 1999, where she resided at the time of her death. Elaine enjoyed dancing, going to senior activities, thrift stores, shopping, cleaning her house and mowing her lawn. She loved her family especially her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of the Lutheran faith. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Paul "Pete" McDuffee, Mary Ann Susalski, Gary McDuffee all of Little Falls, MN; brother, Duane (Marilyn) Sea of Bemidji, MN; grandchildren, Destiny, Paul III, Kimberly, Matthew, Michael Jr., Garrett, Rachel, Ryan and Jason. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Anna Marie Sea; sister, Alma Smith; son, Michael McDuffee; husbands, Paul McDuffee and Henry Hagstrom.
