Edwin Stumpf, 93 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Thursday, January 24 at Bridge Way Estates in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 28 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may gather from 3:00-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 27 and from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Monday at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Military Rites will be conducted by the Little Falls American Legion Post #46. Parish Prayer's will be at 5:30 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Edwin was born August 1, 1919 to the late Edward and Regina (Terhaar) Stumpf. Edwin grew up in Agram Township, Morrison County. He attended school in Little Falls, MN. Ed was drafted into the United States Army during World War II and was stationed stateside in Florida. Edwin was united in marriage to Marian Hesch on December 15, 1942 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. After they were married the couple moved to Florida. They moved back to Pierz, MN, in December of 1945. The couple purchased Marian's parents farm and farmed there until 1949. They farmed in the area together until 1954. The couple then moved to Little Falls, where they purchased a beer distributorship in 1962, which became Stumpf Beverage until 1977. Marian died on September 3, 2002 in Little Falls, MN. Edwin continued living in Little Falls, MN, until his death. Edwin enjoyed family, old-tyme music, gardening and wood-working. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, Little Falls American Legion Post #46, Knight's of Columbus and the Sunset Saddle Club. Edwin is survived by his daughters, Charlene (Jim) Doschka of Boise, ID, Mary Lou (Vincent) Hren of East Gull Lake, MN, Carol Ann (David) Cave of Brainerd, MN and Doris (Gary) Uloth of Burnsville, MN; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Herb (Elvira) Stumpf of Pierz, MN, Ernie (Betty) Stumpf of Belle Plaine, MN, Cora (Jim) Cain of Aurora, CO, Lavina (Leo) Bonacci of Lakewood, CO and a special nephew, Galen Stumpf of Pierz, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Regina Stumpf; wife, Marian (Hesch) Stumpf; son, Gerald Stumpf and a grandson, Jamie Doschka. Casket Bearers will be: Galen Stumpf, Mark Selinski, Art Stumpf,Greg Dick, Tom Stumpf, Tom Peterson "Cherishing Memories...Celebrating Life"
