Edward Witucki, age 85, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Otto's Care Center Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Little Falls with military honors by Minnesota Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. There will be a parish prayer service at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Edward Joseph Witucki was born on June 6, 1925 in Sobieski, Minnesota to Frank & Elsie (Eidenshink) Witucki. He grew up on a farm near Center Valley, MN. He attended school in Hillman. Following his schooling he worked on the farm before enlisting in the United States Navy on May 4, 1944. He was honorably discharged on June 25, 1946. He was united in marriage to Loretta Kronbeck on November 20, 1948 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple lived in the Little Falls area. Loretta passed away in 1972. Ed was united in marriage to Kathleen LaBar in 1973. The couple later divorced. Ed was employed at Hennepin Paper Mill in Little Falls for many years. He also worked at Crepaco in Lake Mills, WI and Samson Water Bed Place in Little Falls from which he retired. Ed's hobbies and interests included horses, going to auctions, his 1978 Ford pickup, loved collecting junk, watching soap operas, riding around with his son, Lance and his paper route for the Morrison County Record. He was big hearted man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Dennis Witucki of Little Falls, MN, Winnie (Bill) Marty of Little Falls, MN, Shannan LaBar-Freel of Fairbanks, AK, David (Gaylene) Witucki of Watkins, MN; siblings, Jim (Delores) Witucki of Little Falls, Jenny Marty of Lake Mills, WI, Joey Denio of Little Falls, MN, Donna Rubedor of Lake Mills, WI and Dorothy (Dave) Heiman of Lake Mills, WI; sister-in-law, Wilma Witucki of Little Falls, MN; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Loretta; second wife, Kathleen LaBar; son, Lance; seven infant children; grandsons, Dennis Witucki and Edward Witucki; brothers, Ray Witucki, George Witucki and sister, Bernice Hansmann. Arrangements are with Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.
