Edward Vilinski, age 85, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 a" 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11th and 9:00 a" 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 12th at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel) in Little Falls. Edward Victor Vilinski was born on September 2, 1922 in Harding, Minnesota to the late Jake & Anna (Kuchinski) Vilinski. He attended school in Harding and graduated from Little Falls High School. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Knaus on September 4, 1944 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple made their home on a farm north of Little Falls in Green Prairie Township. Edward spent of his career working as a crane operator at Hennepin Paper in Little Falls as well as farming. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, hunting, gardening, farming and especially playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Lorraine Vilinski of Little Falls; children, Shirley (Maynard) Williams of North Mankato, MN, Larry (Alice) Vilinski of Little Falls, MN, Joanne (Jim) Wimmer of Randall, MN, George (Terri) Vilinski of Little Falls, MN, and Bonnie (Mike) Saari-Tholen of Little Falls; daughter-in-law, Sue Vilinski of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Mary Rivetts of Little Falls and Jake (Joan) Vilinski; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Jake & Anna (Kuchinski) Vilinski; son, Edward Vilinski, Jr.; grandson, Adam Vilinski and siblings Adeline Wittwer and Tony Vilinski.
