Edward Denio

Edward "Deno" DeNio, age 61, of Lincoln, MN passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN, with Fr. Jimmy Joseph officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A private burial will take place at a later date. Edward Alan DeNio was born on July 18, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MN, the son of Donald & Kathrine (Kammermeyer) DeNio. As a child he moved with his family to the Cushing area where he grew up. He attended school in Cushing and Little Falls High School. Following his schooling he joined the United States Navy until 1973. He was united in marriage to Jewel Bence on January 20, 1972, in Florala, Alabama. The couple made their home in Pensacola, FL, and later moved to Minnesota and settled in the Scandia Valley Township area where they have lived for 26 years. He worked as a carpenter building homes and other projects in the area. He was a devoted Christian. His faith was very important to him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jewel of Lincoln, MN, children, Douglas DeNio of Fairbault, MN, Christopher (Amanda Otremba) DeNio of Little Falls, MN, Edward Jr. (Jennifer) DeNio of Little Falls, MN, Deanna (Luke Triebenbach) DeNio of Cushing, MN, and Donald DeNio of Deerwood, MN; mother, Kathrine (Raymond) Bryniarski of Cushing, MN; siblings, Donald (Barb) DeNio, Jr. of New Richmond, WI, Sheryl (Kenny) Frerichs of East Bethel, MN, Denise (Dennis) Patton of St. Cloud, MN, Kathryn (Daniel) Mazzara of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Tara, Sylvia, Eddie III, Christian, Ina, Christopher Jr., Kailey, Jessyca and Kadence. Preceded in death by his father, Donald, DeNio, Sr.; grandparents, John & Stella Kammermeyer.
