Dr. John E. Weber, age 87 of Little Falls, MN, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Rev. Nick Landsberger officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday and Monday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Parish Prayers will be held Sunday evening at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. John was born July 7, 1922, in Hibbing, MN to the late Ode M. Weber and Grace Carlson Weber. He attended school in Nashwauk, MN graduating with the Class of 1940. He attended Hibbing Junior College graduating in 1942 and the University of Minnesota Dental School, graduating in 1945. He served in the United States Navy from September of 1945 until August of 1947. During his service years, John received the WWII Victory Medal and the American Area Service Medal. John was united in marriage to Jane G. Harch on September 5, 1945 at Lady of Lourdes Church in Virginia, MN. The couple lived in Alameda, CA and in Japan. In 1947, John & Jane moved to Little Falls, MN. John worked as a dentist retiring in 1987 from Falls Court Dental. John enjoyed golfing, woodworking, model making, playing Bridge, boating, pheasant and duck hunting. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls where he served as an usher, a member of the Little Falls Rotary Club, Little Falls American Legion Post #46 and Little Falls V.F.W. Post #1112, Little Falls Chamber of Commerce, Little Falls Jaycees, a Little Falls School Board member from 1963-1969, the Camp Ripley Citizens Committee for 14 years, the Minnesota Dental Association serving at the district and state levels and the Little Falls Golf Course, where each year he presented the Weber Family Golf Trophy to the best golfer from the Little Falls High School. His passion was spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jane; daughters, Mary (John) Bigalke of Excelsior, MN, Lois (Doug) Anderson of Little Falls and Jeanne Pearson of Little Falls; grandchildren, Jeremy (Soraya) Bigalke, Ben Bigalke, Lindsey Anderson, Todd Anderson, Ross Pearson and Beth pearson and great-grandson, Magnus Bigalke. He was preceded in death by an infant son, John William Weber; parents, Ode & Grace Weber and a sister Lois Beveridge Casketbearers are his grandchildren, Jeremy Bigalke, Ben Bigalke, Lindsey Anderson, Todd Anderson, Ross Pearson and Beth Pearson.
