Dorothy H. Manlick

Dorothy Manlick, age 76, of Little Falls, MN, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, 900 - 1st Street SE in Little Falls with Pastor Blaine MacNeil officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation is one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Dorothy Manlick was born on November 27, 1932 in Brookings, South Dakota to the late Walter & Lois (Dano) Bloom. She was united in marriage to Lyle Manlick on May 14, 1948. Dorothy had a gentle spirit and always had a smile on her face when people came to visit. Survivors include her children, Dale (Shirley) Manlick of Illinois, Pat (Bill) Kurowski of Pierz, Carol (David) Langer of Hillman, Steve Kodlek of Mora, Karen (Walter) Fyten of Little Falls, Linda (Jim) Gunther of Pierz, Mary Manlick of Pierz and Glen Sortberg of East Grand Forks; sisters, Leona (Richard) Nelson of Little Falls, Rosie (Lester) Lamp of Little Falls and Lois of Oregon; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Walter & Lois (Dano) Bloom; husband, Lyle Manlick (1974); sons, Kenny and Dennis Manlick; brother, Milo Hendrickson, Robert Bloom and sister, Lillian Saulter.
