Dorothy A. Wagner, age 71, of Royalton, MN, passed away Monday in Sartell. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Father Timothy Wenzel, Father Don Talafous, and Father Mark Innocenti concelebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, 900 - 1st Street SE, Little Falls, MN, with a Rosary at 5:30 p.m. followed by a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home Saturday from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Dorothy Ann was born on July 17, 1938 in Little Falls, MN, to the late Vivien & Ann (Welinski) Anderson. She grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School. She was employed at First National Bank in Little Falls and later moved over to Northwestern Bell where she spent 25 years. She was united in marriage to Martin Wagner on October 24, 1959 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple made their home in Little Falls before moving to the farm in Two Rivers Township where they raised their family. Dorothy enjoyed baking, sewing and knitting and bird watching. She especially enjoyed attending piano recitals, sporting events of her children, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Martin of Royalton; children, Julie (Brian) Warrington of Adams, NE, Cathy (Kent) Loge of Byron, MN, Mary (Brad) Kloss of Reno, NV, Karen Schowalter, of Rochester, MN, Claire (Keith) Olson of Duluth, MN, Patty (Keywan Riahi) Wagner of Vienna, Austria, Jim (Beth) Wagner of Sartell, MN, Marty (Christa) Wagner of Brainerd, MN, and Ginny (Joe) Skyy of Blaine, MN; siblings, Francis "Andy" (Ruby) Anderson of Bemidji, MN; Marie (Jerry) Trafas of Hopkins, MN, Judi (Bob) Johnson of Little Falls, MN, Tom (Karen) Anderson of Sauk Rapids, MN, Carol (Pete) Mick of Royalton, MN, Peggy (LeRoy) Hoheisel of Pierz, MN, Billy (Georgia) Anderson Little Falls, MN, Lois (Marty) Weyer of Coon Rapids, MN, Bruce (Kathy) Anderson of Little Falls, MN, and Chris (Kelsi) Anderson of Little Falls, MN, and 21 grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Vivien & Ann (Welinski) Anderson; grandson, Kyle Kloss; son-in-law, Dave Schowalter; brother, Jack Anderson, and sisters, Ginny Anderson and Betty Paul.
